Three Person Umpire Training

Training is designed for umpires looking for an opportunity to be trained by current NCAA postseason umpires while being observed by Conference Coordinators in multiple levels of NCAA Baseball.

  • Each umpire will work full games in the 3-umpire system providing ample opportunity for observation and evaluation.
  • Detailed classroom discussion covering topics such as:
    • CCA Manual 3-person mechanics
    • NCAA Rules
    • Instant Replay Protocols
    • Game Management
  • Lots of opportunities for hands-on training with our instructional staff.

Camp Description

This teaching camp is designed for umpires working at the Division I and Division II levels who are preparing for postseason advancement.

Participants will receive advanced instruction in the three-man system, including rotations, positioning, communication, and game management.

The focus is on development through teaching—not evaluation.
