The 3-Man Staff Development Camp is organized by Dave Brown through the Piedmont Metrolina Collegiate Umpires (PMCU) association.
Each camp requires (1) Registration and (2) Payment. Hotel Reservations are separate and the participating hotel is specified when registering.

The 3-Man Staff Development Camp is an intensive training program specifically tailored for umpires aiming to excel in three-man crew officiating at any collegiate level.
This academically rigorous event, limited to PMCU staff umpires and those selected by supervisory invitation, delivers a uniquely structured curriculum led by chief instructors PMCU Staff.
Each brings exceptional collegiate credentials and real-game insight, elevating the instructional quality to the highest standards.

Itinerary
- Friday, October 3 (6:00–10:00 pm): The camp begins with a focused classroom seminar, covering the theoretical underpinnings of three-man mechanics, emphasizing rotations, coverage responsibilities, communication, and the strategic decision-making necessary for superior team officiating.
- Saturday & Sunday, October 4–5 (7:30 am–6:00 pm): Each day starts with structured pre-game preparation, transitioning into practical workshops featuring hands-on drills, dynamic live field scenarios, and advanced mechanics demonstrations. Participants will directly engage with game-like situations in a high-level JUCO competition setting, precisely simulating the speed and demands of major collegiate conferences.
- Saturday Night Camp Dinner: In addition to technical instruction, the program fosters a collegial atmosphere through a formal dinner, creating valuable opportunities for peer networking, mentorship, and direct engagement with the instructional team.

This staff development weekend is designed to mirror a collegiate conference environment.
Umpires will work through three-man mechanics, rotations, and situational play while engaging in classroom sessions and group discussions focused on staff consistency and expectations.
